Lovely Pink Tulips

Well, so much for hoping for a green Easter. Woke up this morning to 3" or more of new snow, huge drifts (no school again), and cold:(   It's still snowing and blowing, but supposed to let up this afternoon. Lord willing, this will be our last storm.  Hubby is out plowing - I don't know why he didn't wait until the snow stops. I think he just really likes to ride that tractor.

Today I am playing along with the challenges over at: Papertake Weekly, Spring has sprung; Creative  Knockouts, Spring is in the Air; and Fab n' Funky, Pink.

I stamped the tulips on Neenah white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut it and mounted it over the doily. I embossed the pink paper with the Darice Wire Fence embossing folder. I mounted the doily over the edge of the pink and trimmed it to the edge of the pink. I added small dots of white Liquid Pearls to the dots on the embossed background. The butterfly is punched from a scrap of SU retired DP with EK Success layered butterfly punch. I added white liquid pearl to the body of the butterfly. The sentiment is from Verve Joyful Blooms, stamped on a scrap of white cs with M.T.B., punched with SU large oval punch backed with green cs punched iwht SU scalloped oval punch. Green cs is Bazzil.
