Pink Carnations

Another sunny day, but soooo cold. Good day to stay inside and color :)

Today's card started out as a one layer, but the ink bled through the cardstock so I had to mat it on some pink.

I actually liked that better, and then I added the silver line and corner stickers, and I liked it even more. It's used Momento Tuxedo black ink to stamp the Carnations (Stampendous) image on Crafter's Companion white cardstock and colored with the pink and olive green Chameleon markers. I used cool grey copic markers to add the background, or shadow.
It was hard to get the lines to show up as grey/silver in the picture, but grey/ silver they are! I do not know what the brand is on the border, corner and word stickers. We used to get them from a webstore in New Zealand, and there was no packaging or name. Sadly, the store does not carry them anymore. We've found some others in different places, but none with the variety that the NZ site offered.

I'm going to enter this in the following challenges:
Less Is More- the colors pink & grey
Just Us Girls - Word Week LOVE

  1. A beautiful card Jackie and perfectly coloured however we do like to see a little more 'white' space on Less is More creations. Thanks for sharing your card this week though and hope you'll play again.

  2. We would probably have liked the version without the extra corner details... so as to keep it really simple, but you've done a great job with your colouring! Less is More and all that!
    Thanks so much

  3. Stunning.....misfortunes or mistakes have a way to turn out even better! Fabulous job! Thank you so much for playing with the girls and I at JUGS! We appreciate it very much!

  4. Lovely card. I think the matting worked perfectly. Would never have known of the little mishap. Happens to us all at times. Thanks for joining us at Just us Girls.

  5. Lovely colouring,!
Thanks for joining our fourth birthday celebrations at LIM!
