So, I promised to post pics of the progress of my 'upside-down' snowdrift. This is where it started out the first day after our little 'storm' (ignore date on pic-needed to update my camera). This was on Wednesday, Feb 6. This one is taken out of the top pane of the (double-hung) window, and how it looked outside.
On Thursday, Feb 7th it had slid down about half the lower pane of the window.
This is what it looked like on Saturday (9th). It had warmed up a bit and the snow was starting to melt-therefore we had icicles hanging from the drift. As you can see, the sun was actually shining that day.
It didn't seem to progress any further on Sunday. Sunday night it rained-HARD! And was still raining on Monday morning. And, yes, most of the snow had fallen. So now I can see out my kitchen window again.
How cool is that...you are lucky to still have guttering, so wierd that is just hung like that..great photos thanks for sharing..
